[TITLE HERE] is a satirical and rhetorical documentary that shows how documentaries manipulate the truth, by doing so openly: cameras, sets, instructions, and reshoots are all on screen. As Vincent Boy Kars talks about honesty, vulnerability, and control, we simultaneously see how that conversation is being steered: questions are rephrased, emotions are directed, and silences are deliberately created or edited out. The film doesn’t show the manipulation in retrospect, but as it happens. This creates a dual conversation: the conversation with Vincent, and the conversation about the making of that conversation. Every story is always an interpretation of reality.
